Today Shirley spent some time at Mount Dora watching the annual parade as you see we were meet the guide lines and was back 50 plus feet . This was a great experience for her because she experienced many loud noises, Shirley did not act negatively to these noises. This parade was a great confidence builder for Shirley as she takes her next steps to becoming a guide dog.
I took the time to educate and explaned to the kids that Shirley was working you can tell that by the blue coat and they should always ask if they can pet a dog (especially a working dog).
