Brushing Up On First Aid

Last Saturday our class was at the library where we learned about dog first aid and safety. Note: Shirley was not present with us at this meeting due to her being in heat, and she is off at the spa with the girls. So it felt rather awkward not having a dog. However, our Area Coordinator allowed me to have her dog for the meeting!  It was nice to have a refresher course.  You can only hope you’ll never need to use this information, but by knowing this you could save your pup’s life. I find it easier to store my supplies in a tackle type box with all the compartments, with my emergency numbers taped to the box. Overall, this was a necessary meeting for my knowledge of first aid for dogs.
