Professor Ellie

After many nights of going back and forth to Michaels, Professor Ellie and I finally finished my atom project! As you see here, Ellie is giving me last minute pointers for my presentation.

Don't Call me Shirley :) -"I'm Ellie"

                 
                                     It is  funny to watch the looks on peoples faces after they say Shirley whats wrong girl you don't remember me today  then they realize Ellie is not Shirley ,and really Ellie does look a  little puzzled  being called Shirley.  Don't worry Shirley your fan club misses you, but they are willing to get their puppy fix through Ellie for the next couple of weeks  , but they  still ask everyday when are you coming back ! So a big hug to you ,be a good girl , and Ellie is having fun making your rounds .

Our First Outing .

                                         Last night we took Ellie to Petsmart to pick out a toy; she really likes the rope toys we had lying around, so I figured the pet store is a good first time outing together. Then at sunset we took our first 2 mile walk together. Today I think we will start with a mile and work up to the 2 miles.

Puppy Camp

             Shirley is all packed and ready to go,   puppy camp starts today.

The day started with a pre-puppy camp social in a great hidden gem of a park . Our group leader had a pavilion rented where we had a pot luck picnic lunch. This gave everyone time to socialize and exchange facts and stories about their dogs; it was nice to learn a few things about the other families and the exchange puppy you will be taking home, plus enjoying a nice lunch. Today, we were going to exchange Shirley and Ellie, so we spent time with Ellie's raisers and compared notes. After everyone finished their lunch, we started to exchange dogs. Ellie and Shirley really look a lot alike and have a lot of the same mannerisms; Ellie is just older and alittle bigger.It was with mixed emotions  to watch the pup you have been raising walk away tail waging happy go lucky with someone else. But all it took was for Ellie to give me a lick and put her head down on my lap and that eased my emotions. I hope Shirley is sweet to her host family. We will miss Shirley! But, Ellie is a great dog, so all is well.

Secondly, tomorrow Shirley will be participating in puppy camp where you trade dogs for three weeks . In return, we are recieving Ellie. I'm sure we will enjoy Ellie but we will miss Shirley.

2nd Annual Dog Games with Humans

 What a great meeting! We all had a great time and the theme was dog games with humans. Some of the dogs showed off their skills, and the humans were quizzed in a fun way on their knowledge  . But let me back up as  usual the meeting started with business first , sign in, updates and import information is shared (well we all found out puppy camp starts next week) . Wow didn't expect that we will be switching dogs for three weeks ,did I say wow I will be switching  Shirley with Ellie . So I guess Ellie will be Shirley's under study for the next three weeks as we work on a few video ideas I have .Check out some of the photos from game day .

We're Back!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, Shirley and I are back!  There has been few posts over the last few weeks but not without good reason ,I've been studying for AP tests and taking AP tests and final exams, endless nights of homework and Shirley was getting every moment of free time I had left.But now my exams are over I will carve out time to blog again and focus most of  my attention on Shirley and sleep :) We will be  busy working on  making new videos.It's amazing how fast these pups grow I took shirley into the vet and had her weighed because SEGD sent a form asking Ht and Wt and a few health questions ,and she up to 48.9 LBs just 2 weeks ago she was under 40 .

What a Week

Still studying for those AP tests. Since I have been plundered with homework this week, my mom and dad have helped me a lot this week by taking Shirley to places like Publix, Costco, Home Depot, and many more. My parents have reported good things about her!....She really knows its time to work when she's in her jacket.All good, Except for one minor incident ewww tissue eater.
